During the 34 years that my wife, Ruth, and I have lived in Mountain Home, we have seen two snail-paced lanes of traffic through town transition into five lanes plus a bypass to enable us to skip town altogether.

We may even have shared a ferry ride with some of you as a necessary passage over Lake Norfork.
In fact, you are the reason I love this area so much. The natural beauty that surrounds us with placid lakes, sparkling rivers, and towering tree-studded cliffs is only a framework for the people who I call my friends, many of whom I have met when I constructed their custom home or introduce them to a property located in a subdivision that I had previously developed.
